Developer XCnathan32 did some changes in the boot.img file and disabled the 4 cores which were creating this issues. When the developer XCnathan32 modified this kernel it worked absolutely fine and the phone booted properly.

  • Unlocked Bootloader
  • Recovery and Elemental X kernel for Nexus 5x and Nexus 6P
  • If you don’t have PC you can use Flashify

  • Download the files and move it to your ADB binaries folder.
  • Now, simply connect your phone via USB.
  • Goto “Settings > About Phone > Build Number” and press it 7 times.
  • This will turn on the developer option on your device and now make sure you enabled the USB Debugging option for your device.
  • Open the ADB  binaries folder and then press the Shift + Right click to open the terminal window.
  • Simply, Open the command prompt and write the below command.

  • This command will show the device is attached to your device and now type the below command to unlock the bootloader.
fastboot flashing unlock
  • If you will unlock the bootloader it will clear all the data from your phone so make sure you backup your data before unlocking the bootloader.
  • Now, if you are having Nexus 5x you can write the below command.
fastboot flash boot N2G47Z_4Cores.img

  • If you are having Nexus 6P you can write the below command.
fastboot flash boot N2G48B_4Cores.img
  • If you want to flash the modified TWRP recovery then you can download it from below.
  • If you are having Nexus 5x you can write the below command
fastboot flash recovery TWRP3_1_1_5X.img

fastboot flash recovery twrp3_1_1_4Cores.img
  • Reboot your device by typing the below command.
fastboot reboot
