Thanks for the tutorial.
One question though, I’ve recently updated to Marshmallow, with the former xposed version still installed on my phone. Do I need to uninstall the old framework first or will flashing the new Marhmallow framework just be like an upgrade ?
I didn’t get your question properly…
Will you give me the following answers?
1. Which device you are using?
2. What framework you are talking about?
Do Reply me I will give you the proper answers ????
Hello,
Thanks for the swift reply!
My phone is a Samsung S5 G901F (ARMv7), which I’ve recently updated to Android 6.0.1.
Coming from KK 4.4.4. with Xposed installed – which is still on my phone.
So my situation is: I’ve updated from Kitkat to Marshmallow and now I want to install the proper Xposed framework since the old KK version on my phone doesn’t work anymore.
It says: “Xposed is not (yet) compatible with android SDK 23 or your processor architecture” Obviously, because I’ve updated to Marshmallow.
So.. does it matter that the old, no longer campatible framework is still on my phone when I want to flash the 6.0.1 compatible version as described in your tutorial.
I hope this helps you out..
I will suggest you to use uninstall the previous sdk version of xposed installer. Which can be done with the help of uninstaller.zip and the try installing the new xposed framework in your device.
Chances are that your device will go into bootloop. Because I have heard from many users trying to install xposed framework in their devices
Thanks again, I will uninstall the previous version according to your suggestion.
Regarding the bootloop warning, I’ll wait to install the new version until I’ve read some more about it, thanks for pointing this out!
Your Welcome 🙂
my phone’s keyboard started appearing late after installing xposed.. How to fix that.. Please help. Im one marshamallow Redmi 2
Which module you are using in your device?
Hello I have one s6 edge in 6.0.1 arm64 when I install(settle) the framwork and when I restart my device he(it) remains blocked(surrounded) on the logo Samsung can use me ?
Actually samsung devices are having issues such as stucking at bootloop i will suggest you not to install framework in samsung devices 🙁
Followed this step by step, it doesn’t work for my Samsung Galaxy S 5 (SM-G900P) Android 6.0.1 It flashes the file successfully using TWRP but when I reboot the system afterwards, its stuck on the Samsung logo. Thank GOD I have a backup restore file on TWRP. Hopefully they make an update for Samsung users like me.
Yeahhh! You are right in this matter just because backup is important over here. Actually samsung newly launched devices are having issues in installing the xposed framework in their devices. This is the reason why their mobile stucks in bootloop. I will suggest you not to install zip files of xposed or else it will again go back to bootloop…
Thanks Xaif.
I have seen alots of tutorials to install xposed framework but didnt got a site with a good explanation.
Your tutorials worked for me and you have also updated the links which was useful to me and others.
You have well explained
But after installing xposed framework my phone has been lagging too much .. can i get rid of this ?
I am really happy that you love my explanation style 🙂 Thank You.
Actually this is just because of cache. While installing the xposed installer try clearing the Dalvik-cache and then it will take approximately 15 minutes to boot depending on your device.
Thank You !
Your Welcome ;(
doesnt boot, don’t know what to do now.
It even doesn’t show my documents on my pc only shows up in odin.
it also doesn’t let me go in recovery mode.
Don’t panic and follow this tutorial.
Your computer detects your phone via odin?
Yes i downloaded normal android firmware from sammobile and now its working good.
I’m trying the tutrorial again, must have gone wrong somewhere…
Actually you just need to flash the .zip file and nothing. Just reboot it and clear cache, Dalvik Cache. Then try.
I’ve downloaded xposed and now i’m stuck.
it doesn’t boot up, after i did install it in TWRP and than pressed reboot.
It doesn’t let me go in recovery mode also, and it won’t let me see my files from my sm-g920f samsung galaxy s6.
Could anyone please help me ?
Don’t Panic about this just try flashing the Stock ROM in your device. Actually Samsung devices always have issues while flashing.
I’m using 4.2. 2 ! Do you have a tutorial link for xposed framework??
If it is 4.2 then you just need a rooted device and install xposed framework application in your device.
No need of flashing and installing Recovery…
Oh! That’s good! Thanks for the quick reply! Keep it up!
Your welcome Ahmed
Can this Xposed work on Galaxy S3 i9300 on Custom Rom CM 13?
Yes, it can be installed
Hi, when i use the TWRP recovery tool on my phone (its a samsung galaxy S6 SM-G920F)
i can run it and install the xposed file fine, but whenever i try to reboot using TWRP it just freezes my phone out and does nothing forever. if i force it to reboot using homebutton, powerbutton and downvolume it just starts back up into TWRP and i have no choice but to try rebooting again via the buttons, but then it just freezes again.
any advice?
You mean your phone is stuck in bootloop?
it doesn’t loop by itself. i can reboot it using the home power and volume down, i solved the problem now and im past it freezing and being in a boot loop. but now when i get to the restart onTWRP step of the guide after installing the xposed file. the screen just stays black and i get a blue light on my phone.
Ur awesome bro,,,, have tried many times By following YouTube but none has worked,,,,
Thank You…
phone wont go past the samsung logo now…
There are some issues going on in samsung devices. If you are having custom ROM installed in your device then you can easily flash the SDK in your device.
Got stuck in a boot loop when I tried this about two weeks ago but I want to try again. Would you happen to know why I failed by following these exact steps. I am on Android 6.0.1. Rooted nexus 5 with TWRP and Busybox.
I have tried this trick in nexus 5 and it worked absolutely fine for me.
Actually after installing xposed it takes sometime you need to wait.
Try arm7 sdk file and it will work for you. Just install the sdk and then install the file.
Many peoples have tried this tutorial and worked for them give a try if any issues feel free to comment below.
How come I can’t access this website through my phone, it just shows up as an ip and won’t load.
Also will this delete everything off my phone? You should also include an uninstaller zip just in case people mess up somewhere.

For Samsung devices. This tutorial will not work.
If you your device is stuck on samsung logo, just copy the uninstaller to sd card and install it using the recovery mode. No need to restore backups
hey i have a problem but i don’t speak english very, so go google traduction ^^’ .
